The ICERI 2009 International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation, Madrid, Spain, Nov.16 -18, 2009
We had the wonderful opportunity to introduce the READ Scale to an international audience of educators in Madrid, Spain in November. The general aim of this conference was to promote international collaboration in Education and Research in all educational fields and disciplines. It was indeed a global event as it included participants from 5 continents representing approximately 60 countries offering 400 talks and 135 poster presentations. See this link for a full list of the attendees and the countries they represent: http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/lberard/ListAttendsICERI0001.pdf
The talks were arranged in a variety of cohorts (too many to name here) all dealing with educational trends, practices, innovations, e-learning projects and experiences, university-industry cooperation, and academic research projects. Our talk was offered the first day of the conference in the session group “Academic Research Projects”.
During our presentation we introduced the new READ Scale website – since becoming live, we have received 10 new inquiries for trying the Scale.
